Designed by Veterans and nationally recognized for its innovation, Cabins for Veterans proudly serves Lake City. Homeless veterans with special needs are served at our Veteran's program featuring 31 efficiency apartments in a rural, relaxed wooded sanctuary close to the VA hospital. For recreation, Veterans enjoy a community room, gardening, grills, and horseshoe pits. Other amenities include a pet friendly atmosphere, screened patios, personal mailboxes, laundry facilities, rental assistance, and basic utilities paid for.
